This drawing was made with charcoal. It's the first time using this design tool and i'm excited with the result. With my finger i softened it and appeared a velvet effect. I hope you like it..

I think it turned out great! I tried charcoal for first time recently and I loved it also. It's really different from working with pencils and graphite. It does smudge quite easily so I used a workable fixative to help prevent too much smudging and it seems to have helped.

Home from the mountains and trying to catch up. Your apples are very well done and the folds in the fabric are very nice. Charcoal is fun to work with. It will be fun seeing more of your work.
